My Why

These 2 little guys are my WHY.

They are the reason why I am working so hard to reach my goals and dreams. They are what gives me motivation to be who I want to be. They are my inspiration when I feel like giving up. They are what makes me want to do better and be better.

For so long I thought that once I became a mom, that would be it. I would automatically be a SAHM and just do the things that needed to be done at the house while my husband worked.

But how I was SO WRONG!

I love to write, create, share, inspire and encourage. I have always loved to share personal things I have went through with others because I want them to know there is ALWAYS HOPE.

When I started my blog I had no idea what I was doing. I still feel like I am clueless. Haha. But I did it anyways because it was a platform for me to be able to share with ANYONE and EVERYONE no matter where they were.

Fast forward to today and now I am sharing other content than just my faith. I am choosing to share all the things I enjoy because well, I want to have VARIETY. I want to be able to inspire even those who may not believe what I do. And I honestly believe that is what we are called to do. Reach out to those who are different. Share love with those who you normally wouldn’t reach out to.

My kids are the reason why I spend countless hours on my computer and phone creating new posts, new blogs, new stories for IG and editing my pictures instead of posting a super dark, bad quality one. There is A LOT of work that goes into blogging and creating eye catching material. Finding your niche and having it stay somewhat uniform. Haha. IT IS TIME CONSUMING.

But it is all worth it. Even if just ONE person is encouraged by one of my posts, I am satisfied. It will NEVER be about the quantity of people I reach but the IMPACT itself. The impression my blog left on that persons soul.

That is why I do what I do. That is why I take time to really think about what I post and share. I want my boys to see their mom working hard to get where she wants and have the same mindset as they grow up. I want them to have purpose with everything they do as they get older. I want them to be inspired by what I have accomplished and what I have failed at. I want them to see the good and ugly days I face. I want my boys to see me giving it my all no matter what the circumstances around me might look like. I yearn for my kids to pursue their passions whole heartedly regardless of what others may say or think.

β€œI planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow. So neither the one who plants nor the one who waters is anything, but only God, who makes things grow. The one who plants and the one who waters have one purpose, and they will each be rewarded according to their own labor. For we are co-workers in God’s service; you are God’s field, God’s building.” 1 Corinthians 3:6-9 (NIV)
