I don’t know if you have ever read Job or tried to read Job but for many people, it is not one of their favorites. Haha. (Don’t act like you don’t know what I’m talking about) πŸ˜‹β£
‒⁣
But, it has slowly become one of my favorite books in the Bible. I recently started a Hebrews study at church and the Lord has used it to relight the fire inside of me for His word. He has brought me back to a place of devotion that I thought was over with. There is so much beauty in being simply reminded by your Creator. 🌷⁣
‒⁣
I was reading Job 5 this morning and there was a section of verses that really stood out to me. Especially during this time in our world as so many of us face trials and tribulations. Pain and heartache. Situations that seem like they just keep unravelling. ⁣
‒⁣
Welcome to the life of Job. πŸ˜…β£

β€œBut as for me, I would seek God, and to God I would commit my causeβ€” Who does great things, and unsearchable, marvelous things without number. He gives rain on the earth, and sends waters on the fields. He sets on high those who are lowly, and those who mourn are lifted to safety. He frustrates the devices of the crafty, so that their hands cannot carry out their plans.” Job 5:8-12⁣
‒⁣
Right now we need to seek God and give all our causes to Him. Big or small, He cares and He listens. He hears your heart before you even speak. He is more than capable to do GREAT & MIGHTY things. So many of those things, that there is no number to them. There is nothing He will hold back from His people. When we mourn and are at the lowest, He will bring us to safety and lift us up. And when those who are cunning, come against us, He will make them so frustrated that they will break/shatter and will not be able to follow through with their plans.⁣
‒⁣
That is the God we get to serve. The One who is FULL of promises that can ONLY BE KEPT. The God who we can place our HOPE in and NEVER BE LET DOWN.⁣
