Let this verse just resonate with your heart for a second.

Breathe.

Take it all in and just listen.

β€œMe.”

β€œI do that.”

β€œI totally do that.”

Did you hear those whispers as you read that? I know I did.

How easy it is for our hearts to be overflowing with complaints instead of gratefulness. I mean if I didn’t have God’s word to keep me in check, I would probably be the worst person to be around. I could have a list, front and back, full of complaints and ready for you to look at.

But what good does complaining do? What good does wallowing in your sorrows actually do?

Nothing.

Absolutely nothing.

I honestly believe that being alive should be more than enough to fill our hearts with blessing instead of grumbling.

Do I show that every day?

Definitely not.

But, that is okay because God knew I would have mornings where the first thing I do is complain about being tired still or about how my kids decided to wake up at 6:30am instead of 8:00am.

These are the things that I am constantly guilty of. (Plus many more but we are talking about blessings right?) πŸ˜‹

So, I hope as you read this you think about every single thing you have that others may not. Every small blessing you have been given that you usually take for granted. And thank God. Thank him for giving you more than you deserve and loving you more than anyone has ever loved you.
